| Well...it's been years since I updated my xanga, but i just wanted to give a broad update. One, ginny and I have been married one year officially! To celebrate this I got a new job and we relocated to Abingdon,VA. To celebrate the move we finally finished the film, and it will be uploaded onto youtube in the next week! Needless to say a lot has happened. We are happy about the move. I think gin and I are both lonely for community. It was just seemingly inacessible in our hometown. Maybe on some level you have to leave to find what you are looking for. I just miss my people. I miss community | | |

| Dear friends, sorry that I havent posted in a while...I do, however, have a question. I am in the pre-production process on a short film. I am trying to still fill a couple of location needs. One, I need to find a masculine looking living room. It needs to feel a bit wealthy, but also laced with art and books. I am trying to convey the juxtapositon of idealism and wealth. What I envision is nice matching, or complementary, furniture, walls lined with bookshelves and maybe some art, and a larger-screened TV planted in the middle of the room.
Two, I need to find a feminine feeling bedroom. It needs to be cluttered, warm, homely, and creative. Attached to it, or near it, needs to be a bathroom, so that it feels accesible.
If anyone has any, and I mean ANY, ideas let me know.
you can email me at joverbee@hotmail.com or just respond to this post.

| Three things in which i currently love. #1: Thursday's new album, "A City by the Light Divided, #2: United 93, #3: Wolfmother by Wolfmother.
Went to Church this morning. A fiery furnace it was, but I kinda crave the fire. Meaning, I need to be uncomfortable. It forces me to ask myself tough questions. Plus, there is no perfect context, no perfect church, or no proper communal orientation towards the holy. We are all one, in a sense. Even though we may not think this is so, we are all on the same path. I need God. God does need me. God needs us all, but sadly most of us remain dull to our need of him.
I feel that the majority of the time I live beneath the shelter of my own hands. My own thoughts and jaded quests protect me. But it's a lie, and I know it.
I need to be delivered unto his wings and thoughts and feelings.
Thanks Vis for your kind words. via email.
Cynicism should be put to death. It's a false moral absolutism. Its embrace of the gray is truly an embrace of only the black. | | |
| Question.?..Does anyone personally, or know someone, who has inexpensive access to film and/or film editing equippment? I want to make a short film based on the 25 page screenplay that I've written. It would be great practice before I start film school, which looks as though may be Brooklyn College, in the Fall. So, if you know anyone who may be interested in working on a film project with a neophyte filmmaker post below. | | |
